Farrows were honoured to be chosen as Tricker’s partners for their website transformation journey. With a deep-rooted relationship and extensive knowledge of the global market for English-made shoes, we were well-equipped to lead Tricker’s on this Magento to Shopify Plus migration project.

Our Solution

Shopify Plus Migration: Leveraging our previous experience migrating between the two platforms, we seamlessly moved Tricker’s from Magento 2 to Shopify Plus. This transition promised substantial monthly cost savings (50-70%) and enhanced profitability.

Streamlined Customer Experience: We harnessed Shopify’s headless system to create a lightning-fast, user-friendly website, purpose-built for driving sales. The intuitive CMS and elimination of server maintenance further streamlined operations.

Feature Enhancements: We entirely reimagined Tricker’s existing site, introducing new features, simplifying others, and maintaining the vital Sage integration for sale reconciliation.

Global Expansion: Utilising Shopify Markets, we enabled multiple currency options and shipping methods, accommodating the complexities of international shipping, customs, and taxes.

Factory Shop Overhaul: We transformed the Outlet store into an easily navigable setup within the same Shopify framework.

The Results

The outcome of our collaboration is a sleek, user-friendly Shopify Plus website which is befitting of the prestige of the Tricker’s brand. Perfectly balancing content and commerce, the website is set up to educate users on Tricker’s meticulous manufacturing processes and quality standards, all the while offering a seamless path to purchase.

This migration not only met Tricker’s tight deadlines but also significantly reduced monthly costs, resulting in increased sales, reduced administrative overhead, and an improved system overall. With a website designed to sell products efficiently, Tricker’s is primed for success in the competitive marketplace.

In the three months post go-live, the new Tricker’s website delivered positive impact across key metrics of sessions, revenue, transactions and conversion rate, when compared to the same period the year prior.
